Service Methodology

01

Requirements Analysis

We assess your current network topology, capacity demands, and growth projections to define the optimal optical architecture.

02

System Design

Our engineers model link budgets, select wavelength plans, and specify equipment configurations to meet your performance targets.

03

Staged Deployment

Factory-tested systems ship with pre-configured parameters. On-site commissioning follows a standardized protocol with full test documentation.

04

Ongoing Support

24/7 NOC monitoring, proactive firmware management, and on-demand field engineering maintain network availability within contracted SLA targets (typically 99.99% or higher).

Service Scope & Applicability

Included in Standard Service Contracts

  • Remote NOC monitoring and first-level triage (24/7)
  • Software/firmware updates for contracted platforms
  • Advance hardware replacement (next business day in covered regions)
  • Quarterly performance review reports

Limitations & Exclusions

  • On-site field engineering availability is limited to regions with Infinera-certified partners; remote locations may require 5-10 business day lead time
  • Third-party fiber plant issues (cuts, degradation) are diagnosed but not remediated under standard contracts
  • Multi-vendor integration support covers OpenConfig-compliant devices only; proprietary third-party NMS integration requires custom SOW
  • Hardware end-of-support follows published lifecycle schedules (typically 7 years from general availability)
